Minnesota As I have been hollering from the roof top ;) insurance money is going to be the future of this industry for awhile. Globe understands this so do the Manufactures . I cannot hook you up with adjusters . There is a conflict of interest when I am out in the field . The liability issues associated with recommend this contractor or that is very much discouraged and should be obvious as to why . When I'm not working I am constantly text and conversing with inside outside adjuster from all levels in this industry . They are not the enemy . I have my finger on the pulse .>>>

Looks like the adjusters may have some competition from roofers as well this program requires you to take a online trining inspections test / program then you will be certified through them to do inspections - i believe the pay is like 130 per inspection.

If Globe Markets their middleman strategy right - They may land a Allstate - or American Family according to some. GAF is already promoting them.

well - The storm happened last spring - i had a good year now this spring homeowners hang up on you - slam doors in your face i dont want none - while the insurance agents are calling their homeowners and telling them a storm came through and you only have 30 - 60 more days to file a claim if you have damage - we will send a guy out to take a look. All my previous customers have been done - I can go door to door all i want but their are no houses left undone for a reason. I get the calls like - I need a new roof it is hail damaged - i ask how do you know this they say well i have had several roofers tell me so - i say why are you calling us then - I looked you up and you have a good reputation - Have you call your ins Company -- they say yes they tell me i do not have damage - i say 9 out of 10 times your adjuster is probably right - well dont you guys do free inspections - no not after the storm chasers ruined it and why do you not believe the adjuster yet you believe the teenage door knocker who never even set foot on your roof? well i just need an honest opinion they say - the only time my phone rings other then web services selling.

Ciak i ask for your help - how can i get in with the insurance company / Adjusters - you are an adjuster you have plenty of contacts please hook me up - I am out doing repairs now while these chasers are still bringing in the big fish through the agents/adjusters in their pocket.>>>

If there is a storm and someone is having a roof put on by Twill roofing and the insurance company is paying for it . The homeowner is going to know that the insurance company paid on the contract they had with the homeowner . They will tell their friends . Their friends will look at who the insurance company was possibly buy the insurance company policy. Now if twill roofing does a good job the homeowner will say The insurance company paid to have our roof done and twill roofing did a good job . Homeowner is happy twill roofing is making money to keep his family feed and perhaps a referral . I don't know what stinks about that . Enlighten me twill .>>>

Minnesota as a "radical", i.e. one who is honest, pays his bills, warranties his work, pays taxes, etc etc I have stated many times if something stinks, it must be rotten. Never had any proof 'cause as stated when something stinks and is rotten, I tend not to go towards the smeel.

What CIAK talks about and promotes, is simply the death of life, honesty and integrity. Problem is, we still have to eat. EZ to say that it is the way fo the world. Harder to say how to deal with it. The German people found it was easier to just go along w/ the Nazis. But I am getting pretty broad here.

My 10 cent solution for the Ins. Cos. is if they want to cut costs, is QUIT GIVING AWAY FREE & UNNECESSARY ROOFS. Doing this (high volume produtcion) drives them into every corner of the states pushing their illegal contractors into work that does not need done. But we are talking about an industry, like most other failed industries, who can't make it without the government tit. So they keep pushing on.

I'd like to see some lawyers get a handle on this and turn the tables on these vultures and get 'em to pay for the screwin' their contractors have put on many of their policyholders houses. Maybe a new roof, Plus damages, plus lawyer fees. Might put an end to the Cartel

CHUCK... my children will be looking forward to living in a Government inspired, Insurance Co. owned High rise then? Just like Russia... Their very own Apartment!@!! You shot right past me on that one! >>>

Minn One of the steps in a catastrophe is to get to the homeowners and convince them you are the guy to do the work. That is one of the big steps . Marketing to your community before during and after a storm. Sitting on your backside and complaining is a victim mentality . If you want to be a victim you will be : Let your community know you care about them and their property. When a storm hits market like crazy. You know the drill. Get out there get off the cushy I'm the only good guy and every one takes advantage of me because they know someone etc. If I ever do this I have started to formulate a plan an idea on how to cure alot of this nonsense . If I do I will need to work with people who are motivated . Get motivated . You have a huge advantage more than one use them stop crying. That is what being your own boss is all about.>>>

You know the funny thing is i would pay if i were not scared of being caught - I pay referral fees all the time. I consider myself honest but the problem is not everyone is and therfore it is considered a bribe.

I would prefer to just do good work and take care of the insurance companies customers at a reasonable price. But apparently this is not enough anymore.>>>

quote/]twill59 Said: Heres a business model: (will it happen Chuck?)

Roof leasing by theneighborhood Ins. Co. Roofing Co. 1-800-FREE-Roof

Why own your roof anymore? Keep it separate from the rest of your house and let the Ins. Co. own your roof and rent it back to you. Make a payment along w/ your mortgage, taxes and escrow. Just add some $s onto the insurance premium.

Anything happens to the roof, call the Ins. Co. Roofing Co. to take care of it. Hail? Wind? Tree limb? Algae? Leak? One phone call does it all.

Please dont think I am mocking you CIAK, this is simply the End Game of what you are talking about. Heck lets do this w/ the whole house!! Then what do we have? It sure isnt Americans Home Ownership is it?

So the natural question, does the Ins. Industry want to own everything?

I'm absolutely sure you have never owned your roof to be exact you never have owned your house neither have I , It is just an illusion . If you don't pay your taxes get a taste of who owns your house with all it's parts , the insurance company keeps it from falling apart so the taxes etc will keep the value up incase someone defaults. The warranties are for the same reasons state mandated or not. All building codes are there to keep the resale value at a maximum . The end game has been in operation for as long as debt and government have been around . The model you drew is the new American Home Ownership . The insurance company has it's hands in almost if not everything and has for a long time.>>>

The answer to that question twill is Own your house . Have it paid for no mortgage and you control your destiny not a slave to the Masta " debt ". When you owe you pay . That was another reason for my post about selling my debts and buying up others debt simple as that. Jet your comments are becoming so empty mindless pin headed they don't require an answer . You answer your own reply. ;)    >>>

CIAK Said: Bigshot        :woohoo: thats a hoot !! Proable cause an arrest incarceration $ 50,000.00 bail then the next day 1st Degree Felony Arson bail raised to $ 250,000.00 That is the latest up till now. Thanks for the spelling bee Jed ;)

How can you be out on bail already and leaving the state w/o permission?  Oh, you mean the people who did the work? Please expand on your admission.

MN.......you said the magic words, "I refuse to give kick-backs", don't you know how this "game" (that Chucky's in) is played? You don't pay, you don't play......simple as that. Don't go down that road, these guys will pay for it in the end, believe me. Also, when ANYONE tells you they're "up front, honest and moral", grab the vasoline. Every bible thumper I've known uses those same tired azz lines to fleece the flocks.

I will handle this the best I can in an open forum . I first can tell you I never have worked the Minnesota market. I have had many conversation with inside and cat adjuster about that area. They tell me , if they had their choice it would be the last place they wanted to work and try to avoid it if possible. I don't have a lot of time this morning and quite possibly will in the air this afternoon going to North Carolina , Fires have burned down several homes . I'm on call at the moment. I have my new computer so I will be checking in if I leave . What kind of info are you asking me for. I will tell you up front I am honest and moral FYI>>>

Hey CIAK why dont you hook a fella up? How do i get in with the insurance work? I mean i get some but man these big chasers take it all in about 2 weeks than take a year to get em all done. I know first hand of a couple people working for the chasing companies give adjusters trips cruises vacations watches all sorts of bribes - hell i have even had independant agents offer me clients does'nt last long cause i refuse to give kick backs they do not come right out and say it but i find out down the line the same agent giving me his clients is now giving them to a chasing company in which i know 2 people working there telling me kickbacks big time and he is not the only agent in their pocket. I am afraid to get busted what do i do? And what about this preferred contractor service middle man kicking back to the corporate like triage? I need some work here in MN how do i do it? Not one single homeowner here is willing to pay out of their own pocket for a roof i have to fight bogus claims all day everyday. Send me an email i am serious.
