Toss out the rules of spelling and grammar and we will have anarchy in here. Anarchy!
John you nailed it. Where can I get one of these " gists" I could use it more than I care to admit. B)  B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
I don't use spellcheck unless it's for something official and it probably shows here. They should have never taught that line 'i before e, except after c'. It isn't that way in my nieghborhood.-WYWOODY
Actually that rule isn`t consistent, neighborhood is e before the i,and several other words as well--But the words do get red underlines when they`re not spelled correctly-who really cares ?,.long as we can get the gist of the message
Trump has lots of baggage. His name became a 'brand' that he sold to be on lots of projects that people got burned on. His buildings have expensive materials, but tend to be stark and bland, much as I see him. On a recent trip to NYC, I walked past one of his buildings and the thing reminded me of the 'gold packages' that were on cars in the early 90's. Where all the lettering on the car was done in gold, pretentious and dated. He treats women like dirt. I do like that he's a big fan of Wharton, though.

Wow Lanny. I thought I was the only one that felt that way!
---Trump would go out of his mind trying to get anything done wading through the bureaucracy. ---Today rules and regs have killed the economy. It costs so much to get through the paperwork that many projects won't ever get off the ground. ---And it is too late for someone like Trump to get things going. ---The world is going off the dollar standard. China is gradually moving out their dollars. The dollar is no longer being used in many international transactions. ---Watch commodity prices. They are not going up. Rather the dollar is going down. It has only just begun. ---If all wages in the entire USA were taxed at 100% the budget would still not balance. Do you hear that in the mainstream media? ---Arguing over a few billion when we have a trillion dollar deficit is meaningless. ---Wake up and smell the coffee while you still can buy coffee. ---The lights are on but nobody is home... Lanny
Why, sure you can... B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
Roofguy...never noticed...the period after dr signifies an abbreviation of Doctor. I'm sure there is some legal BS involved.
Didn't mean to segway by saying "fried"
Anyway, other words to stumble over:
their/there of/off to/too which/witch and more I can't even come up with right now.
Ciak don't feel bad. My boss would bring me draft letters. Tell me to do something with it. His spelling was terrible. I took business in HS and was a good speller and grammar was good. I knew how to draft a letter. It's failing these days. I double read everything I type, I don't use spellcheck. I wasn't aware of how much I learned in HS, I thought I "wasn't" paying attention. Can I get in on this, can I share the limelight with OS? LOL PC
There was a segment on 60 minutes last year about some guys that went around correcting grammar on signs all over the place. With the texting that is going on now, it is almost impossible to NOT see a lot of mistakes, because it is becoming "proper"
I think it took me about 2 hours to watch that 60 minutes. There and Their and Too, to, and Two are others that drive me crazy. I believe it was Winston Churchill that said he felt sorry for anyone that could only spell a word one way. I am still "Old School"
