I'm licensed in Florida but my headquarters is in another state. I know that you can only subcontract to another licensed contractor in Florida.
However, I recently was talking to one of my installers and they said they recently went down to Florida, worked for another roofer for a large project, and the contractor just paid them a flat per square price like he was a sub. How is this possible?
Any ideas?
OS, what Ya got to remember, with the Welfare for the Rich, Corporate Welfare and my favorite..."Socialism for Capitalists and Capitalism for Society".........
.....With all of the welfare and subsidies and gifts for the "Job Creators".....we don't really know what a lot of things cost anymore.
The price of cheap meat and cheap vegetables, amongst other things, (i.e cheep labor) is hidden in the staggering costs of environmental damage, government subsidies, health care costs and... YES OF COURSE.....welfare for the low wage worker. And.....
......Just how in the heck do you price in Medical Bankruptcy when trying to make a financial plan? B)
Cheap is an expensive thing
If you "rob" a bank, make sure you own it. then the government will give you unlimited money to fix it. Too big to fail and all that. What a crock.
The law does not matter, do what you want.
Ethics do not matter - Do as you please
Common sense or decency does not matter - Do as you please
Accountability does not matter - Do as you please
Only tolerance/progression matters - Do as you please
A wonderful era we live in!
Although I don't recommend it, you can rob a bank as long as you don't get caught it's all good!
