Robby I may have something for you up here in Ferndale. Got any friends or family up here? I do residential tear-off and re-roofs and usually a repair or two on the back burner.>>>

Are you interested Robby? If so where do you live and what is your expeirience/age etc..? I have not tried to hire anyone as of yet. Been doing it all myself but its becoming very overwhelming along with my other duties. I've had to work 12-14 hrs a day to try and keep up. I've been getting to most but not all leads. :woohoo:>>>

P.S. If you didn't sell a job the very first day ( which would be odd ) then you most likely would the 2nd day. Your feet would be flooded very quickly! lol If you started on Monday you should have a decent check the very first Friday. We sell 200-300 repairs annually. Also you will run into repair leads that become replacements. They pay 15% after labor and material. You will sell some of those along the way. All you do there is make the sell. I order materials and get the job done and collected.>>>

OLE Willie

The labor is taken out of the 40% unless you do the work yourself. Then you get the whole 40%. We don't pay an hourly rate. Its a set amount so your able to know what you will make off the job whether you do it or someone else does. You set the rate for the other person when you do the bid. Example: You sell a repair for $850. The material is $50. You decide to let someone else do the work and they should get $100. That leaves $700 times 40%. Or $280 for you. Example 2: Say its a $250 minor repair and you do the work as well at the time of the estimate. Theres no material ( homeowner had the shingles ) You get 250 x 40% which is $100.>>>

I truly understand your philosophy in your hiring requirements as you are relatively small. Larger companies may offer a small salary for a short period until said persond gets thier feet wet, then they are on thier own.

If said person had to do the repair on his own (due to unavalability of other techs) will you pay the hrly rate plus the 40%?>>>

OLE Willie

The way i worded it was to keep it to serious inquiries only. You know, similar to what you want in the potential customers who call you. As in "qualified". I forgot to mention that "if" said person even exsists out there and happened to want this job. Once said person took said position and "proved" himself for oh i don't know say 6 monthhs or so then said person would qualify for benefits, company vehicle, phone, etc. etc. However, as of today the person who is doing said job is yours truly and i would have to aquire said benefits, vehicle, phone etc. and i'm not doing that upfront just to find out that said person turns out to be less than desirable for the position. The pay would be commision based as i stated. 40% after deducting materials and any labor other than your own if used. Which is basically half of the money after materials, labor and overhead. We sell between 200-300 repairs per year. So the annual pay for this job would range between 30,000 and 100,000 depending on the person's abilites!>>>
