Winter is GONE!

:) Thank goodness this day has arrived! I eagerly await this shortest, coldest day of the year. Spring will be here tomorrow with a longer day and the end is in site. Hump day, if you will. Less than 13 weeks of potential bad weather, with 1/2 or 2/3 of it usually being in the 50's around here. 18 now, :( 43 later, with the week ending around 60. :) I just love this day guys! Rejoice all! :)

We got 3" of snow last weekend . I'm glad the days are getting longer

Snow is good for mid and late december and early January. nothing gets done anyway and it is good for the ski areas. It makes the "shorter" days go quickly too. My mid January, the days are already about 20 minutes longer and getting longer fast. The years seem to be flying by anymore. I can't believe that about 10 years ago I was ly8ing on my bed at midnight wondering if the Y2K thing would actually happen and that was 10 years ago now.

A bit of dancing when I took the trash out, and filled my flip-flops with cold white stuff. Knee deep stuff. :laugh:

I'm glad it's here, too. But isn't it some kind of celebration day for pagens? You're not going to be dancing around with goat horns on, are you?
