:) There are deep questions and theories going around out there folks. Looky what i found on the web. :) "Question - Hi there is a question going around on a remote control plane forum that goes like this: "Imagine a plane is sat on the beginning of a massive conveyor belt/travelator type arrangement, as wide and as long as a runway, and intends to take off. The conveyer belt is designed to exactly match the speed of the wheels at any given time, moving in the opposite direction of rotation. There is no wind. Can the plane take off?"
Me? Of course it will take off! No doubt about it! :P
Looks like it's leaving the ground now! B)
It was very long, had to catch it from the beginning, too much reading to follow. It was great, many a good arguement. I think Ciak gave it a run for its money with his rental unit fire or possibly surpassed. Webmaster would know. PC
What was it, 20 pages last time? I got tired of it.
Just to get the post # up I still say no It wont fly but maybe this post will
It dont fly,it just irratates!
I thought you guys knew this question was flawed? The speed of the wheels? Like the spinning speed? or the speed that they travel compared to the conveyor? or the speed that they travel compared to everything else that does not move like the trees or ground? same goes for the speed of the conveyor compared to what? the wheels, the ground, itself?
Kinda like asking what? equals what? equals what? --
Ah, I see Frank want to bring some nostalgia back to the "new" RCS... That was a fine thread, it was. But maybe for the ones that didn't take part in the last go around, what do YOU say?
BAAAAAAHAHHAHAAAAA
Oh.......It will fly ok :woohoo:
