I need to know who's cement tile this is. There are copper clips that provide the wind resistence at the front of the tile. Thank You

I believe that Eternit purchase the slate business from JM and then they had to get the asbestos out. The results were not good.

a pic of Eternit slates just found through google. Didn't look for JM. Maybe they were the same.

Eternit was my thought too, when I first looked, but they do have that asbestosy looking thing going on with them too. Not much knowledge of that kind of stuff floating around in the old gray matter, so my safest answer is probably DUNNO?

I did a few of those back in the day. I remember the last one, it was discontinued after that. It was called Eternit. Don't rem who made it..

We were talking about that on Slate roof Central a while back. I think someone found some. Want me to check? How many?

Thank You, I need the clips and some tiles. The clips are more important. I can use take some tiles from other areas and replace with real slate.

It looks like the old Johns Manville slate. Do you need some? How about the copper clips? What ever it is it is at least 45 years old.
