It has been dead as heck for the last few days. Is everyone just tired of the snow this year? I am.
Buildings like low slope? I know you do some torchon, do you do much of it?
Also, are your knee's as good as before, or 20 years better?
I got back Monday from 10 days in the Charleston SC area. Had a bunch of calls while gone and have spent the week trying to catch up. Had a great time on vacation and missed the last few below zero days. Hardly thought about roofing at all. If you are looking for a nice place to get away in February before the roofing season gets going check out Edisto Island. We rent a house there and our friends from Charleston come out and spend a few days and we have a great time. Off season prices, warmer weather and beautiful country.
It is going to very busy this spring. I have a ton of buildings to look at, but the snow has to melt a bit so I can get to them. I looked at one the other day and there was a drift about 6 feet deep across the front yard. Kind of hard to carry a ladder even if I could get up on the roof. Why would a person want to? It is 13 degrees here this morning too, and who would want to get up on a roof and start something in that? Safety trumps busy! Give us a couple more weeks and we will be getting ready.
Around here, you can drive around and if you are looking and paying attention you will see a lot of buildings that have collapsed under the weight of the snow. They will have to be replaced too. Much to do. I know that the prices of materials are going to jump in the first month too. trying hard to lock them in right now. good luck with that.
I'm here.
I get discombobulated with this much time not going hard at it. Lost in a hole, unable to schedule appointments because I'm worried I might be too busy all of a sudden
