This will be monier lifetile saxony slate, big stuff 12X 17 flat concrete tile. Last one was over 10 years ago. Should be fun.

The way that small one story roof on the right comes out at an angle could create a potential problem. You will have a flashing detail that is half valley metal and half wall channel. And youre in an area of mature trees (that damn dam debris)to boot.

It is called zip board. This house has sat like this forover 2 months and very little leakage. Osb with a coating and teeth on the edge, no clips needed. Getting very popular here.http://huberwood.com/main.aspx?pagename=zipsystemwalloverview

Woody there is a flat roof seperating that section from the wall. If you look close you can see the parapet around the front.
