pocketkangs Said: Yea...we cut the stars up. They are a little over three feet tall each. Then just welded it to the blue. It cost us a little more but you cant make a flag without the stars I guess.

Great job and a good plan to have the stars appliqued onto the field. It would have been a real drag to have the points start pulling apart. :woohoo: Most of us look forward to taking our craft beyond the norm and you guys definitely did that. B) I can hear it now: "You guys get it all layed up yet?" "Yeah, pretty much. We just have to weld on the stars."

I featured the photos Pocketkangs sent me here http://www.rooferscoffeeshop.com/rcs-social.asp and I sent it off in an e-blast and posted on Facebook.

I love everything about this roof!

CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done.

Looks really cool!

I am sure you specified an American flag so that the crew didn't install one from the wrong country. :woohoo:

Here is a clean picture but not the final picture for publishing Vicki. We took some professional shots this morning and we should have something final in the next week or two.

I will wait until you are ready then. I will get you a lot of promo on my social media. Did you video it? That would be awesome. Let me know when I can run with it.

It's not on our www.interstateroof.com website yet because we just finished today. we actually still have a couple days of standing seam left to do but the flat is done. We are in process of taking some professional pictures with a ground photographer and one from a helicopter and I will post more professional pictures when I can. We are going to speak with Roofing Contractor Mag hopefully for them to publish it as well as nominate it at the NRCA and CRA awards banquet. We are happy and grateful that Roofers Coffee Shop is willing to link as well. Best wishes ya'll

Did you have to weld all of the stars onto the blue? Looks nice.

TPO comes in A LOT of different colors now. We have wanted to do this for a while but as you know...most flat roofs have so much mechanical up top that it wont work. This building is a college and it just worked out perfect. It was fun seeing all the people involved to make this project come out so perfect. Our customer is proud.
