Time to Vent: Kill Bill

Has anybody ever encountered any worse garbage than Windows 8?

I know I can compare it to the worst roofs I've ever seen, but I can't think of any roofer, or Hilljack that had the same resources as MicroSoft.

This was truly a Team Effort

Was up at Best Buy looking for a laptop for the little lady. Kids wanted mom to have a macaroni book with a full glass of iBcool-aid.

I see these Asus rigs that were hopped on steroids compared to both of our existing systems for $379 and thought "I can't pass on this kind of deal". Windows 8 looked so kewl on TV, ya know, with those people all doing acrobatics on the street and throwing electronics around like frizzyB's, n such.

What a DUMBA$$ !!!!

The bride took her old laptop to a local service co to have it cleaned, sup'd up, and brought back to life, just so she didn't have to deal with the Late, Great W-8. It cost more than the new laptop.

Me, I took it out of the box, used it twice, and got so pissed that I pulled the old one out.

Don't have time for this CRAP!!!

My wife feels the same. 5 minutes into her I phone, she knew she'd be happy.

Well, so far I avoided it. Bought me a MacBookPro 1 year ago so I can be more portable. I still work in Windows 7 on a PC for my bookkeeping. Bought a new wireless printer and plugged it in. My MacBook recognized it instantly and I could print. Took 30 minutes to install the PC. There is no comparison and the learning curve was a few days because I have a Iphone and Ipad. AND they all communicate with each other and I am in love.

I drank the Apple Kool-aid.
