Just a bit more wood repairs and then the last 5 squares of tile to apply. Looking good.

Wow, looks good! B)
Friday we installed the last tile on the roof. We have about 2-3 more days to clean up and paint, but we are about finished Hooray!
I am going to organize all of the pictures I took and create a power point of the whole project. I should be able to post that for all to see so that you can see the progress from the storm to the finish. Stay tuned!
Now some people would call that character, but really, they let the vines and trees get too close to the house.
Around here, not cleaning it gives it a head start to this;
The moss will get your roof soon enough, you don't want to encourage it.
I only wipe the dust off to keep it off the roof. Old patina, mis-matches, moss stains, rust stains, all work to give a roof character.
Oh no, we left them dirty and we had to spray paint a few so we could make it look the same on the whole roof. About every 6th tile is dark on the whole roof except for the dome roofs (new tile) and the tops of the towers where we just used clean tiles.
What method did you use to clean the old tiles, pressure washing, bleach,scrubbing?
Looking good!
