Jaggedwood

I have a customer that has called me after a year and started to have some leaking along the brick wall and upper chimney flashing.

It`s amazing what a customer will accept as a proper flashing,Some guys think they reset the flashing because the tar was called "flashing cement",not to say that`s what happened here, just what came to mind-lol,would be nice to see a pic, harder to do now, unless you`ve already got it published on a site though

TRG. Some of that "invisible" plastic cement?

that`s about the right amount of time for the tar sealant to have cured, and cracked

I'm with Mike on this one. We can't see what we can't see!

OLE Willie

My recommendation would be to meet him at the property, thoroughly inspect and diagnose the problem and come up with a solution! ;)

Did you use caulking to seal the chase in the brickwork ?
