Hear lots of people cashing in on these hail storms. I think I'll give it a shot with my bro and our girls, Can someone head me in the right direction??

What is your real world experience (beyond calling oneself an "insurance claims specialist"? There's a right way and a wrong way. Most do it the wrong way and end up leaving many thoiusands od dollars on the table.
The storms "usually" start in the SE, work their way along the southern US to West Texas, then make a sharp right turn heading up through OK, KS, the front range of CO, WY, NE, SD, ND. The storms this year are out of turn.
I'm glad they're happening as it draws the storm troopers elsewhere where hopefully they'll be too busy to "mess with Texas." Typically storm troopers prefer to work storms in the northern startes as summer heats up.
My advice is to not pretend you're local. Most in the hailbelt are hail-savvy and they can see through that. If I were in your shoes, my pitch would be something like: I'm not local and I'm not going to pretend I am. The economy is slow where I'm from so I'm here to help after the storm. I have a good reputation and I stand behind my work regardless of where it is - here are my references.
Or look for the duallys
Normally there are large dark clouds and possible lightning strikes. Follow them.
