Don't know what happened with the shakes job. We got our money for the flats and never worked with that guy again. Every once in awhile I hear a customer complain about how they got screwed by some Miami roofers and rather than fix it they go out of business - disgusting . . . Really felt sorry for that homeowner.

I was out last week and in ONE DAY I came across TWO chimneys that had been repaired recently. Both roofs had 5 5/8" dimensional shingles with 3-tab's replaced around the chimney. One hadn't been leaking because they actually weaved them in. The other just put 3-tab's on TOP of the dimensional all the way around the chimney.

Days like those are worth a lot pleasure-wise, and many times monetarily speaking.

So what ended up happening w/ the wood shake roof?
