I was going to Chicago yesterday with my wife to spend the day with my daughter so we could go to some concert to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had to stop at my sister's house to drop off a vegatable tray my wife made for her for a family reunion on her husbands side of the family. We drove up to the cottage and I got out to carry over the tray, and everyone there just started to sing "Happy Birthday". I hadn't a clue!
For those of you that know me, I was literally speechless for about 10 minutes. That doesn't happen, as I always have some smart comment to make. The daughter that I was going to meet in Chicago walked up and then my son from Boston walked out and I finally figured out that the party was for me. Duhhh! What a blast!
You only get one chance to turn 60!
It was a total surprise too. What a gas. I wish the same to all of you on your next birthdays. Tinner, as old as you are, they probably forgot.
Lucky Dog! Nobody gave me a party went I passed 60. Not that I misss it though. Parties are for you youngsters OS.
60 years old, still roofing, and you can carry A vegetable tray? I'd say your superman! Congrats
HapBday OS. I think you're finally old enough that they will let you in the door at the square dance club.
Well I guess we will never get a chance to call you "Young School"
HBD!
Happy Birthday, Old School. May you live to see many more and get off the roof soon.
