Can you snow-thieves please cut it out?! We're down to less than one inch of snow reserves now (normally, we should have 24-36 inches). Temperature is around the freezing mark today, which is much higher than it "normally" is. I haven't shovelled any snow since about beginning of January, and we haven't got anyone calling with ice dams and snow problems because... there's no snow and it's too warm. My winter tires are looking at me in reproach every time I get close to the van - they were expecting to play in the snow, and all they've been doing is rolling over dry pavement. Never thought I would say it, but I miss winter. :( :blink: :huh:

This snow has me going insane! After nearly 36" in the last week, everyone has ice under a foot of snow on their roof, the ice has backed up way past the ice guard and everyone is leaking as the sun hits the house during the day. No one wants to hear that there will be an additional charge on top of the snow and ice removal if we have to shovel our way to the house! "Why can't you just carry the ladder to the house and put it in the snow?" "Can't you just put hot water in the downspout to melt it?" and every other goofy question you can imagine!

We are getting 40 to 50 calls a day and everyone wants instant gratification. Just ain't gonna happen darlin'!!!

Um no im not since i got hurt it has given me something to do. i was here before the viruses problems. Im not selling anything nor do i get a dime. I do it because my heart and soul was roofing so i figure i would give it back. And no its not a friends program either.

With that, i have noticed a serious change here on this site. Alot of hostle people running around. All im trying to do is help people wih skill i have FOR FREE if thats wrong well oh well.

Are you using any software to assist you with the adjusters?

If so what are you using and why that program?

Do you pay for the deductible for the customer?

Do you canvass for leads?

If so how many are you using in the field?

Are they trained properly to get leads and able to have rebuttals at the door to get the lead?

Are you using telemarketing?

Do you do mailers?

If so why?

Are you using a camera to show defects in the roof, if so who do you give them to?

Do you manually measure the roof or are you using software to measure for you?

Where are you targeting your area?

How do you target the area?

Do you know the hot area’s if so how do you know?

Do you honestly want help getting the money you want versus whatever they pay you?

How are you trying to close these deals with the insurance adjusters?

Well if you have 1 license for xatimate and thats what is needed not 50 of them it will interlink off 1 license for pricing and this is the insurance estimators worst enemy. Pictures, to the nail, fast as you type it kicks out everything from contract to work order. Basically it makes xactimate 100 time more powerful. I dont sell it its a freind of mines progrom and well it is somethin else. I have a copy but well never messed with it. he does webinars to show its power. hey whats an hour to sell insurance jobs at your price. email me if you want more info since i have to get an appoinment set up if anyone is interested. you would really have to do the webinar to get the full power of it, i dont understand it very well so its just something i seen and well its alot better than just plain old xacitamate. If any of you fellas want to see this drop me an email and we can set an appoinment so you can see it and then see for yourself. simple to use and extremly fast. heck you can sit at home and do estimates from your computer and well send them out like birthday cards.
