STORMS

We have all seen the tragedy in the Mid West with Tornados. That same system hit us yesterday. Tornado watches all day, then at 5:15pm it changed to WARNINGS. I went down and picked up the girls, they were alone, Mom was working so I brought them up to my house. The only thing on TV was WeatherWatch. The 7 yr old was scared to death, she followed me around like a puppy, I kept tripping over her. We sat outside and watched as the storm approuched, the oldest loved it, taking pictures on her phone, the young one was not happy. We could hear the thunder,lightning was starting and then in a flash, I mean a flash, pouring rain, and high winds. It happened so quick. Scary as hell but I couldn't let them know. Down to the basement. Daughter calls said she's on her way, which freaked me out. She was already on route no storm but instantly was cuaght in the storm. It took her awhile because trees were down everywhere. We didn't lose power but communication was lost as a result. Some towers apparantly were damaged. All is well everyone safe. We don't have sirens like the midwest, we average 4 T a year. We are already up to 8 confirmed. No comparision to Joplin, what a disaster.

I hope all is well with all of you, the "T" are hitting places all over.

My other job I see this every day when I'm deployed. People in shock and traumatized. Everything they have or had is gone in an instant. Family history possession every thing gone. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day

Out & About today. Nothing tragic but alot of branches and trees down. Clean up all over the place. Waiting for some more tonight. :( PC
