Just so I understand this correctly, they found one skeleton, and from that have concluded that this is the missing link, and it had "wide distribution in Africa".
Hmmmmm, as David Moore said "We tend believe what we want to believe, and we tend to find what we are looking for."
I wonder what they would conclude if we burried the skeletons of the entire "Little People, Big World" TV series cast in the bottom of the Mayan ruins? That would really screw with some minds, wouldn't it? LOL

Where does the confusion come in? We are the finest form of primates. The point of where we/some gained our brain intellegence I DON"T KNOW!!! The primate is one of the few that can recognise them selves as a seperate entity when they look in the mirror. They can recognise that it is a reflection of themselves. I have read that German Shephards (not all but some have) have also attained this. PC
