Is there a Manufacture that specs a roof-over Modified Bitumen? B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
As I recall, most manufacturers would permit a bonded roof over one roof that did not display any bubbles or water entrapment, by divorcing the new installation from the existing membrane by using insulation or a ventsulation sheet as produced by JM.
SureCoat Systems is. Look 'em up at www.surecoatsystems.com I am creating a new brochure for them and I am learning all about it!
I would think most liquid applied systems are spec'd and warranted.
Not sure what you are looking for but most single-ply manufacturers will allow application directly over mod bits and burs even without separators. We were invited to a bid at an auto industry plant where a major manufacturer had specified tpo directly over bur several years ago. When we find the right candidate, we use that same spec. Not a bad system. Better than most coating options.
Specifically, Primed and prepared Modified Bitumen roof with approximately 25% of life no leaks splits or bubbles. Recovered with new Modified Cap sheet half lapped existing Modified. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
i've seen carlisle samples of fleece back epdm over mod bit.
I think fleece-backed EPDM and similar.
