Been a while.

How go things in the on a higher roof level?

Biz good, bad or unchanged?

I have not seen a set of Yellow Pages or a Newspapper in years. How are you promting your business?

Have you gotten into any new to you systems?.

Wanted to see if the RCS still has a heart beat, hope so, think of many of the old players often.

Thanks :) Tom

Roofguy Said: Tom, who has the absolute best SPF roof training in the country? We have basic Intech training, and the BASF course, but wed like to take it to another level.

Tim,

I don't know if there is any. Most want to teach keeping the equipment up and running but not application.

You might want to consider looking into Polyurea which in many cases means doing less for more.

If you are still in Texas you are in the Monolithic Foam Dome part of the United States which has from the largest Commercial to what would be Mobile Home parks but with Mini Domes in its place

But to answer your question, business has been slow here. Finished a large chop job in Midland recently but it has been slow going.

We don't do residential and, as you know, it can be more difficult to get a flat roof building owner to spend money when it hasn't rained in 6 months...up until last week. Last year and this also had very little hail.

That coupled with our largest customer just not buying any shopping centers in the economic downturn...

We have had to work harder to stay busy than any time I can recall.

That is amazing! How in the world do you get them? I know it is not from listening, because I have and I can't understand them as they are singing. I guess if you know the words you can figure it out after the fact, but not as they are sung. Love the song though! Glad to have you back.

Old School Said: Hey Tom!! How about the words to a song? You seemed to know them all. I dont know the name of the song, but the hook is hey now, hey now, the world... and I think the name of the group is House? Any ideas?

Hey bud, I didn't know so I had to wait for LeakMon to email me.

There is freedom within there is freedom without Try to catch a deluge in a paper cup There's a battle ahead many battles are lost But you'll never see the end of the road While you're travelling with me

Hey now, hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car there's a hole in the roof my possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof in the paper today tales of war and of waste but you turn right over to the T.V. page

Hey now, hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they won't win

Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief

Hey now, Hey now Don't dream it's over Hey now, Hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us You know they won't win

Don't let them win Hey now, Hey now

Hey now, Hey now

Hey now, Hey now Don't let them win

They come, They come Don't let them win

Hey now, Hey now (yeah)

Hey now, Hey now

wywoody Said: Hey Tom Hay, good to see you on here again. As for howz biz, I have a question for you. Whats a good way to tell a potential client leave me alone, but think kindly of me in case I need you in the future?

I got slammed with a one year job on a Military Base, catch 22 can't use my Cell Phone on base. I like you though, if you have an emergency that you know you want to me as the contractor for send me a text or email with particulars and I will leave number two in charge long enough to hopefully help. :)
