i just have a question to all roofers. how will you like to be working under the shade intead of working under the sun that is frying us every day? I know we are tough..and everybody thinks of a roofer to be a tough person to support the sun all day... but i think is time for us roofers to put something over our heads to keep us from the sun i'm thinking probably a real oversize mesh tarp that will give us shade and spessially in the comp shingle part it will save those shingles for gething hot and be more walkable with out scurffing them out it will be a good idea for comercial roofs as well.....let me know your opinion... thanks.

Ali, I aggree with you, but you are going to have to put it up and take it down too. The sun moves and that will change where the shade is. sounds like a lot of work. How about the wind blowing it over? Hey, just go the post that says "Everyone sign in and "sign in" " Just a thought.

My opinion is- Price your work so that you make enough to quit earlier when it's this hot. CHARGE MORE!!!! and quit early. If the customer doesn't like it let them get up there and do it themselves!
