ROOF COLLAPSE!

I was inspecting several properties for a client and when I returned to my office and pulled the property up on Pictometry, I noticed this adjacent property. Unbelievable! I am not sure what caused the roof collapse, but I thought it was a cool image and now use it in some of my marketing.

Stupid goes all the way down to the bone. At least beauty is only skin deep.

We had an 18" snow storm and several businesses called roofers to shovel snow. One huge business had an acre or three of 2-story roof, and a few thousand feet of one-story roof. Well, the roofers shoveled ALL the snow onto the one-story roof. I wish I had pix of what 20' of snow did to that section of building. :woohoo: :side: :woohoo: :ohmy:

Roofer ought to use that in his own marketing. Looks like the roof system held up pretty well.

Looks to me like the joist pulled right away from the wall.

Several clues there that the issue wasn't likely ponding water, unless it was an acute situation caused by blocked drains...
