Real hail damage

I saw this picture on another forum and wanted to post it here. It is Brazilian slates and that stuff is quite brittle. Look what happened when some 2" hail hit it. the Vermont slates right next to it were repairable as were the Ludowicci tiles. this stuff.....I am not so sure. What do you think Ciak would say about this roof? total replacement?

True that! The Brazilian slates don't work too well down south and even worse up North where they can't handle the freezing and thawing cycles.

I've seen roofs look like that just after it was installed by a bunch of south of the border "roofers"

The picture didn't post You have to do to ":Quality of roofing slates" the 5th one down, and click on Chnese blue black slates and look at the pictures. Wow! Hey steve, I went there this morning and when it was on the top of the page i could copy and paste it, but not now. any idea how to make is simple?
