It is good to replacing whole roof if it has two or more layer of roof. If your roof has only layer than re roofing is not much required but for more than two roofs you should go with re roofing. Roof having two layers need nails of length more than 2 inches which does not found easily and also not safe to use. Therefore most of the roofers prefer to suggest re roofing which gives a health roofing shield to your house and stay longer.
He's a tool, won't respond. I've tried talking to him elsewhere because his company isn't far from me.
Yea this post seemed odd to me. I thought about getting rid of it as he just wanted to create a link back to his site.
There is a Bob Ketchem in the roofing business, and I don't think this is really him.
So there was this guy, a big name in the roofing industry in the 1980's, who my dad thought was a friend, but every time my dad would tell him about a new idea, lo & behold 6 months later the guy was doing it himself.
My dad told me to be careful about what I said around him when we went to a roofing convention in Vegas in about '81. So, sure enough the guy comes up and starts asking me what we're working on these days. I laid out the thickest layer of BS you can imagine:
Me: Well, we are putting paper felt plies down in emulsion, which has much better dimensional stability than polyester. Him: Really? Well that won't let the water get out of the emulsion, will it? Me: We use perforated felt. Hm: Ohhh, well that makes sense.
Lol I hope he tried it.
Go get 'em Bob.
