We are beginning an eight hundred square reroof project on a military installation. Tearing off BUR/gravel and installing torch-applied modified. Part of the process involves submitting daily reports on Quality Assurance, attesting that materials and workmanship are in accordance with specifications. Anyone have any QC/QA report experiences which may help in formulating my reports? Please feel free to message me. Thx, Andy
I was talking to a guy recently that had a "historic" barn reroof on a Wildlife Refuge. They wanted a preliminary meeting so all involved could meet. There was 7 people at the meeting, the roofing company owner, his production superintendent, and 5 different oversite guys, each representing something different.
DOD QC/QC requirements are very specific, and are included in the project specifications....
I've performed jobs where they insisted a rep from the contracting office be present for the test cuts, fastener pull-out testing, etc.....The test cuts where then subjected to the gooberments' particualr lab-testing techniques/etc....
Certainly they have a form for you to work from. They have forms for everything.
