Price per sq calculation for shingle labor

Here's how to figure pay for an untrained monkey to install shingles:

Cost of beer x # squares Minus cost of insurance Add in price of nails, flashing and Misc NO MARK -UP DEDUCT:price of nails, flashing and Misc Builder furnishes, Builder MARK -UP: 30%

ADD in theft of materials: $2 per sq

Sub Total: $21 per sq for 12/12 3 story

Deduct $8 for Cost of food, childrens shoes and other living expenses: Leaves $13 per sq for 12/12 3 story

Deduct $3 cost of gasoline and vehicles Sub total: $10 per sq. (unless Monkey does not have a vehicle)

Deduct cost of equipment & ladders: Sub total: $7 per sq.

Rent equipment and ladders from builder: $3

TOTAL WAGE FOR Untrained Monkey: $3 per sq 12/12 3 Story WAIT! I was wrong---- No Equipment Necessary! Just one ladder. REVISED Total Wage for UnTrained Monkey: $5.50 per sq
