I've never used a lead generation service. My problem is I can't find good help. If I had qualified help, we wouldn't have to turn away 8 out of 10 jobs.

Hail is an inevitable part of our business model. We have enough commercial roofs scattered around Texas that every year 4-15 of them will get hail damage.

It is the low hanging fruit in that: 1. The customer is already ours and no selling is involved. 2. No measuring the roof. 3. Quick proposal - just pull up the last proposal and change a few numbers. 4. Leverage with the adjuster because we're usually the only ones who are willing to continue our guarantee after the roof is repaired. If we have a 15 year guarantee, so long as our price is reasonable, the adjuster will have a hard time bringing in some lowballer who won't refresh our guarantee.

It is not a great business model because it's difficult to plan. A good hail season can quadruple our gross in a given year.

Being un employed in TN has to be better than being unemployed in IN.

Storms? Stop and count how many restoration contractors there are nowadays. It's a free fall to the bottom now. I hope.

I'd say storm work, with some exceptions has run its course. OR stay in for the big payday and starve the rest of the time.

OR ......BUY or RENT an adjuster. Not sure how that works, but we all know how corrupt this is.

The problem might lie in your business model. Change it, fix it or remove it
