Pigeons everywhere help

Iam doing a asphalt reroof 91 units 4/12 and 8/12 there are piegeons every where making a mess on my new roof. We have close of all attic entry the promblem is they hang out undre the soffit where the roof dormer returns into the main roof. I dont want to use chicken wire for cosmetic reasons . any proven methods out there. Thanks in advance.>>>

Back home they stick a plastic owl up there......works for a day or two then get's covered in crap...>>>

Spike strips are a temporary solution. Eventualy the birds learn they make a good base for nesting materials and fill them with grasses making them useless.>>>

Pigeons on roofs have been a problem for eons. If there is a "proven" method for dissuading them from their chosen "hangout" I have yet to hear of it. Good Luck.>>>
