(OT) Maybe sort of a kinda

Some other folks, foolishly cling to the Nirvana of Socialism. These Deluded People actually like the Interstate Highway System. Or visit the National Parks. Or ride their quads and hunt and fish on Public land. PUBLIC LAND.....what an outrage!!!I would suspect that if they were carefully watched, they could be glimpsed going into a library. Of course they would expect clean water from their faucets too. I tell you, this socialism is going to be the death of this country yet! Just having clean water from an indoor tap makes almost every American richer than a huge majority of the rest of the world.so where is this experiment in socialism going to end?

People posture, postulate, propagate, and promulgate. They get on internet forums and espouse ideas and theories about how the world should work, but they are mostly talking to themselves. Reminding themselves who they are and what they stand for. Generally, they are the only ones listening intently to themselves, because while they are on a fence crowing about this and that, the other guy is also on a fence crowing about this and that. Too busy listening to their own sermon to pay that much attention to the other guy's sermon.

Dear Egg, I'm sorry your issues raised were for the better/worst part ignored. I read your post twice and appreciated the concern as others did not. The moral issue is for the individual to bear and I would never expect any man to understand. I am not arguing a point with anyone, I just wanted to thank you Egg for your thought.

As for the political issues, I'll take the guess work out of it...I do not like Trump, amazed that Pence is along for the ride and so disappointed in Paul Ryan. There are so many titles attached to politics these days right, left, inbetween, liberal, upsidedown & backwards. I'm in the category of thinking for myself.

I totally, 100% agree. They have their noses into everything. Why the "libs" and "conservatives" can't get behind that???...Divide and conquer is working quite well.

The government solution is not to strengthen MY rights....but to take away from YOURS. And vice versa. And that is what must be recognized and rejected.

My simple solution is the same as it has been for years: A) Eliminate welfare ( except for the truly handicapped) and Corporate subsidies. B) Reduce military spending by 1/3 and therefore federal spending by 1/3.

I didn't like that debt either. Same old, same old there. But then again, there wouldn't be of a Trump stock market rally without. The bigger that than the debt.....is where the money went.

The wealth creators saw zilch and income inequality soared under Obama.

Families suffered economically. Financiers made out fabulously Main Street was broken, Wall St was fattened.

The Military got their annual increases while expectations dropped....protect DC, guard the diplomats and open new markets for MultiNational Corporations/ American MonoCulture (see: environmental calamity).

Obama and his beastly wife hate America. They said as much in his book and in their speeches.

Bush was a good man, but weak. His administration was also dealt a foul hand by 9/11. Who knows how well the economy would have done without 9/11 and the expensive wars that followed.

Trump is being hogtied by a Republican congress who would have preferred that Hillary won. They are invested in status quo, it's how they maintain power and become multi-millionaires on their moderate salaries. Congress prefers the nation suffer so that they can maintain their power - that is what Trump is battling right now. Friendly fire.

Between that, and the otherwise intelligent people who hate Trump so much that they're convinced themselves that Obama was good, our nation is headed for troubled times.

I'd say Obama did a good job, not great. Of course following Bush.....'nuff said.
