We have a big job we are working on, redoing a large tile roof. I have talked to an inspector about how to do it before we started while in the bidding process and we started and he came to the site yesterday to go over how we set it all up. Very interesting. He was there for about an hour going over our paper work and inspecting the scaffold, the safety measures we were taking and also the equipment. No problems. He is scheduled to come back in the spring when we really start to go on it because we will have about 10 times as much scaffolding up at that time. If the paperwork is in place and you have everything in writing before you start, it helps a lot.

Yes, just like with the BBB, if you will kiss their butt and play along with their little game, things will go much smoother for you. As much as I dislike OSHA's games, you gotta play along to get along.
