While I was never a member of the Kiss Army, my 1st Kiss went like this:

Way back when the Midnight Special was on, in like 1974, KISS appeared. Well a lot of us kids saw them and were "blown away" (LOL)

Sure enough within a month we went and seen 'em in a little movie theatre in Beautiful Downtown Hammond, IN. How lucky for us. The tour was probably booked before the TV Show

Us lucky guys were about 8 rows away when Gene Simmons started spittin' blood! How Cheesy! We were rocked out!

Tickets were about $6. If that. Soon after KISS was gone, discovered by normal society and our moment in the sun was done. And our 8th row tickets were now megabucks.

Ditched school to get tickets. Had a big group of friends going and I painted the faces of four of them to match the band. While I was busy painting faces my boyfriend was busy drinking and by the time we got to the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, California he was passed out in the car.

Well, I had never seen anyone that drunk so I was afraid to leave him because I was afraid he would die or something. So I missed the concert and stayed with him in the car and missed the entire concert.

When the concert was over I removed his wallet and 'he' bought me a program. Just gave that program to my sister. It's worth a few hundred dollars on EBay now. Almost 40 years ago...

I was never into the group KISS but there was a girl down the street that was a little older than me who had her entire room covered with KISS stuff!

Strange thing was I couldn't get a KISS from her to save my life! :woohoo:
