Oh My God - I'm Old!

WTH happened!? I now have roofers referencing my vast experience. For a fleeting moment I was flattered...then I realized that, by default, this means I'm old.

I don't feel old, how did this happen to me?

As I look around, I see many old people trapped in young people's bodies. One advantage of losing our physical health, we get to reclaim our mental health.....But, who's listening anyway?

It's a war out there.....a war for your mind, heart, soul and body. I used to think that life was a much more random activity. I see now what control we live under, mental, physical, spiritual.....you name it. Especially SOCIETAL. It's amazing to me to how quickly people become foot soldiers for the oppressors, or become the oppressor

63 is starting to sound pretty darned good right now. They're going faster too. I better get the Christmas ornaments down pretty soon. It must be just about time. Right after that it's Easter.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to an estimate, a neighbor a repeat customer had referred to me. He was an Asian guy and as I first started talking to me, I could tell he was just studying my face.

"Dan has got to be a liar", he blurted out.

"Pardon me" I responded.

"About you, Dan lied about you. There's no way you're pushing 80."

Gee thanks Dan, I'm 63.

Man's days are few and trouble filled! :dry:
