Philippians 2 -- You should read it -- It does talk about the crucifiction and says "should" not "will"

Let this mind be in you which was also in Jesus christ - Furthering my faith i thank you. everyone deep down knows.>>>

I would like to say the one true god is in everyone - not to say hes been excepted by everyone -- but those people are really tormented with every decision they make: feelings of anger, hate, vengence, just wait and see what they get in the end type of attitude -- they will bow to the almighty -- This is not what god teaches and if it was how would this benifit him? God is not a supernatural being god cannot be explained - he is in all of us he influences every decision we all make so does satan it is a constant battle - This in itself is the one true power every second every milisecond divide it as many times as you like he is still there influencing our very being.

There are only 2 choices good or bad -- does not matter how you come to terms with it or how you believe it to be deep down you know it and you feel it everyone does. The only choice is to accept it or be tormented by it.

Mike, Wondering where you found this line or if you thought of it

"He will knock on every door, but many will not open. He will not be mocked. He will not be reduced to what some want to make Him. On that day that "every knee will bow", there are going to be some very disappointed people."

It just does not make sense to me for the reason of Jesus being crucified - and what kind of selfless act he commited triing to teach us how as part of god showing he is not in it to make people do anything - Showing us that he himself will sacrifice part of himself for the good and right so we may learn -- even the jews who crucified him are still feeling tormented -- he could have just made them all bow right then if thats waht he wanted us to learn. did he not give his right hand? >>>

Kage,

You demonstrate an impressive grasp and knowledge of the many aspects of Christianity and verses of scripture that many like to gloss over, in favor of the feel-good-gospel, for someone that has been a real christian for such a short time. Your story is understood by everyone that has experienced that same change in their heart.

Ray Comfort probably said it best when he responds to those that say "my god would never condemn a good person to hell" with "That's right, he wouldn't, because he is a figment of your imagination. You've formed an image of god to suit your needs,....... and your god has no power".

He will knock on every door, but many will not open. He will not be mocked. He will not be reduced to what some want to make Him. On that day that "every knee will bow", there are going to be some very disappointed people.

If a person believes in a god, but refuses to acknowledge the God, why would God acknowledge them. He may be loving, but He is also a god of justice. The only way to the Father is through the Son. For anyone to quote Jesus as any kind "god", then reject his very words, for that is exactly what he said, makes little sense from a personal perspective.

Carry on, my good man. I just wanted you to know you weren't alone. :)>>>

God allows bad to happen to us and we can either learn from it or we can whine about it,the heart is decieving this is why you need to trust in the Lord alone, the closer you get in your relationship with Him the more you are going to hear from Him,all He wants is a relationship with ya and then just trust Him..things fall into place, good or bad but the difference is the peace you will have in trusting Him,He loves us beyond any explanation that you or i could even imagine or have,He paid the price on the cross but we have to make a choice..Him or satan..>>>

the name really does not matter god, jesus, lord, allah, master, satan, as long as you do what in your heart you know is good and right it is all part of god all good and right come from god and is in essecence considered god there is only good and evil there is no inbetween god is all good and there is (only one) no in between. - names do not matter do the right thing whitout expectation and you will feel good this felling is god -- there is no person that is going to come to you and say good job you can come to heaven - when you die if your heart is not at ease and the wrongs you have done still bother you these are what you will carry on to the next life to be either tormented by or at peace with for eternity.

Say for example you owe someone money you do not have it but you cannot sleep at night knowing you owe this money once you pay it off you are relieved -- Now on the other hand consider this you owe this person money and you justify the reasons why you do not or will not pay them back this will torment you for ever or as long as you owe this debt.

God and good works the same way except for us to feel good we have to make no justifications and have no expectations do what is right and just - then we will carry no burden the burden of sin -->>>

God allows us to sin because He gave us freewill and the Bible the rest is up to us..theres 2 roads Him or satan, period. He will not force nothin on ya,only religion does that. There is only one name that can fix this world system of ours and that is Jesus Christ period.I hope and pray that you will see it before your last breath because after that there is no more choices.>>>

Addiction's are what make us who we are we all have them does not matter if it is drugs, alcohol, addicted to being right all the time, hunting, eating, making money, etc....

The higher power is what tells us on the inside when or what is too much if you do not listen you will have negative consequences we all hear it -- some choose to ignore it -- God is good every good thought you have -- Being hungry is not a good feeling killing is neither but we must in order to survive god allows us to sin and we cannot live life without it -- we must listen to our inner self we all know what is right deep down -- you can relate that to god or whatever you want. If we do what we know is right deep down the better we will feel. Have you ever worked so hard to get something or to reach a goal and were will and did do things you normally would not consider right? then reached the goal it will not be half as good as it would if you know you earned it.

To Quote a line from Clint "we all got it comin kid" "deserves got nothin to do with it">>>

it were'nt you cap'n,it was the gentleman that spoke ill of those that have beliefs other than his.or his choice,AH,and that is the dilema.rather than gratify ones choice it's easier to discriminate. I work A daily program.it's recovery based and I have A choice in everything I do or believe. alot different that A conformist society that some religions apply. some folks just steroetype A sectre of society that it takes on an almost racist affront. I don't care what where or who someone believes in.just stop shootin dope and don't rip me off.for my money, life, family or most of all my choice to be an individual.>>>
