Normal upkeep

Look at this picture if I can post it here. The lawn has been mowed recently and there is a TV Dish in the yard. people are living there. Makes you wonder about their priorities.

Could be a neglected older person...which would suck!

At least they have shade. Plenty of trees right next to the house, and growing from it

Maybe the dish comes from the roof, were the damaged area is. I know O.S.. i have seen this kind of situation so many times, it truly makes me scatch my head at times... :dry:

Copperman: that is common around here. It may be beautiful inside but looks like crap outside because the assessment is visual. I just had a recent assessment and I'm OK with it but others were up in arms. Mine was within range but other townships doubled the value of homes which raised their taxes out of range. Too many greedy, greedy people. I like to take pride in the presence of my home inside & out. Not always perfect because I get lazy and say "what the hay". Tomorrow 's another day. :S PC

Copper, I understand that, but the roof boards are showing. That has to be leaking like a faucet everytime it rains, and that is right in the corner of the house; probably over a bedroom. What a mess. Can you imagine the bugs and such that would be inside? Wow!

some let their homes look like that to keep the tax man from raising their taxes. I knew several people like that

I just had this huge satelitte dish REMOVED from my back yard last year. I always referred to it as my lawn ornament, it was here when I moved in '88. Too much trouble to operate,2 boxes, I'd play with it and aim it at the neighbors just for the heck of it. Sometimes you just can't take the kid out of the adult. :woohoo: PC
