Noone is talking

I do my best to interject other conversation besides roofing, you guys need a break. I understand your interest and seeking knowledge OK I don't put in my 2 cents on roofing anymore. Get a life, lighten up, be fun, tell jokes, quit be so damn serious. You have families, children, relatives you hate.

Oh hell I can't remember, as an example. I got dumped by a guy by text message the other day. I have saved it on my phone so I can share it with others. To me it is funny as hell. I am not upset but find it funny enough to share. I'm of the baby boomer age so this is quite new and different to me.

We all need to lighten up and laugh more. PC

It's not a monkey but it is political, which has been the topic lately.

I was j/k ya PC about being like my fiance, but I think you know that. We had a storm on Sunday so I've been patching all day and writing up bills/estimates until 11 at night so she has a right to complain at me a little.

The point I was trying to make was, over the years many a non roofing thread went on.

MikeH was king, Bobby the court jester, let's not forget the Ferrarri and the Airplane (will it fly or not), babies, grandbabies and personal losses. Endless, we all have it going on. PC

Ya Patty i agree, but us guys only communicate with things in common. So "us" roofers can relate with eachother on a common basis. I do aree with you, we all have to light'n up.... B)

gkrfg...not sure how to take you with that statement. I know this is a roofing forum been here since 2003. I appreciate the hard work and dedication given by you all, I understand your work, I no longer talk about it. Women are rare on here, just thought bringing a little lightness would be nice. We all have lives beyond roofing. Ignore me if you choose too. PC

I come in here to read and talk about roofing. There are all kinds of other sites to go to for relaxation and entertainment.

That said, if this is where you want to vent I don't see a reason not to. :cheer:
