They all weather out to the gray look. They look neat when they do the curves and they put the "waves" in the roof too. Very expensive thought.

You can bend them with steam in a few minutes. Any direction too!

Many years ago I helped roof a house built in 1870. We were installing wood shingles and the owner wanted us to wait on a round eyebrow. He took several months to soak and bend shingles to fit exactly around the curved eyebrow. When he was finished we went back and installed these curved shingles. I was glad we weren't getting paid piecework on that job! Lanny

San Jose has some of the neatest wood roofs I've ever seen . Works of art . I will probably be heading out to California some time this week if the sheep fire keeps it up , It is in your neck of the woods Vickie . I'll give you a call if I'm out there .
