The new OSHA Tax will be going into effect soon. How much/ what % will you raise prices to compensate?

Yes. My perception is that it will become another cost of doing business. There is no getting out of getting "caught". Some part of everything we do will now be illegal.

So, do you add it into your labor rates or O/Head? Do you stick it in the bank, or spend it and keep your fingers crossed? And if you put it in the bank, you'll need to add some more $'s as now your OSHA "savings Account" will be taxed as "profit". Double taxation

And of, course, how much do you add into your costs for this "tax"?

OK. I get it.....Yes, OSHA should be a cost of doing business, (much as attorneys fees)......I remember it well; The last two large roofing projects we did were $1.3mil & $670k....OSHA fines totalled $27k for both. No matter how much you prepare/hard you try...If they have the want; They'll get you; FOR SOMETHING or another.

I'm a bit slow here Twill59. So. it's not a "tax", it's OSHA re-structuring requirements/MO's?

Fines for one Lower production Add'l. labor/ employees Higher safety risk

and..... a lot of your "competition" will be immune to the tax
