A helper and I did this job Tuesday April 23rd. Took one full day mainly due to the heat.

The last roofers went almost a foot too high with the chimney flashing and did not make a cut in the brick or mortar and did not bend a lip on the metal. Customer was informed at the time of the estimate that a brick mason will be needed.

Skylights had 2 layers of flashing on them.

Covered the whole area around the chimney and skylights with GAF Storm Guard.

Well, it wasn't the worst I've seen by any stretch but it certainly needed improvement.
Wish I had one like it every day. Charged $2,500 labor and materials. I had $1,600 left after paying for everything.
Some might argue that isn't enough but it's $8,000 per week or $400,000 annually.
If I can't survive on that, then I give!
Well done! Nice tie in with the old roof. Kind of like polishing A turd eh?
Laid the skylight tops over the holes and went to lunch! :silly:

Brick Mason will be coming to repair the chimney
