Naming your Pets

It is even better than naming Babies.

My Scrapper: Original name was INKSPOT due to irradic markings, a little ghotte (sp?) and moustache. My husband called him Blackie. Friends call him Sanchez. :S

My sissy male: Started out with SMUDGY due to he looked like he was painted with a paint brush. A little goofy. But he has since gone by the names of Trash Can (his fur catches everything),

My little girl is Trio: Oh, she is orange, black & white. 3 colors.

My big girl is SUNSHINE, she is an Orange Tabby, also known as BROWNIE

Ottowa, I had the same question...never heard of it before. I know these damn animals have a lot of sex, that's why I have a lot of cats, fix them all now. But Aids? A little puzzled. Mike certainly not questioning you, maybe territorial terminology? We are on different ends of the world. One thing in your neighborhood maybe not be the same in mine. ****Please don't don't tell me I have to start buying Feline Condoms***PC :S

My neighbor lets her cat roam the neighborhood so I nick named him Kung Pao Cat.

My dog is Leda, the cats are Lucy (short for Lucifer) she made the most chilling noises when we first got her, BoBo which is short for Rambo, he is Lucy's son and was the first of the litter to start climbing, then there is Dora, short for Adorable, she is white with black and brown patches and very standoffish. Lucy just had her last litter, Cuddles and Speedy left on Monday, Spanky and Liza leave on Saturday.

I have Kirra - An american bulldog who is a big sissy but beautiful.

Then I got a pit/boxer mix last year who we named "Boss" because he had to be tougher than Kirra. He is but not by much. Well he ran away on Sunday. I'm up early today making posters....

I am a star trek fan and will name my two dogs Dumar and Dukat...they will be my Cardassian lap dogs. A term used in a episode I watched. Liked the reference and the names.

Of course...I tell my children..we won't get any animals until we buy a piece of property for them to run around on.

Fathead & Pinhead , both black, couldn't tell them apart, except for their heads.

Softy & Bobtail, identical again, big fluffy, cut a circle of fur off the tail of one , thus the name Bobtail

Leon Freone, he was the Stud

Barncat, she got trapped in the Barn, appropriate

Spooky, she was spooky, scared of eveyone.

My dog was "Teddy" Golden Lab. Had to put him down about 4 years ago now.
