I'm not a big fan of music on the roof. Most times it's to loud, and hard rock. Me I lke Classical music. It's sothing, and most of my customer base listen to this music. You can also have a coversation over it without shouting.

Checked out the Alice Cooper Radio Show before.......he plays the same songs that the other stations play all of the time, all day long He might be worse than anyone when it comes to avoiding the deep cuts. He's Not much of a storyteller either

I just recently got onto satellite radio (did I mention I got a new truck), and on the Deep Tracks channel, they have a Tom Petty show called Buried Treasure. Other than the theme song, he never plays anything of his, but he has an awesome collection of great roots songs that he is very knowledgeable about. He's pretty funny, too.

He's going to have his own channel soon. I think I'll use it to replace the Grateful Dead channel, boy did that get old fast.

hey CIAk my B-I-L constantly has "conservative" talk radio on ( I only like Dennis Miller). All day long... (And I don't mind 10-15 minutes of Rush or any of the rest of them)

So we're building the pole barn and he says " you got any Christmas Music?" I sez "Yes, but no Jingle Bells or Frosty the Snowman Crap"

( I prefer to balance out the right wing w/ left wing talk radio too)

So I blasted out the TSO for him and, it turns out he had never heard of them!

(Jim Wallace from Sojourners is still the only Preacher in America that gets any respect from me on a political level)

I just could not believe he never heard of TSO.. Too much talk and not enough music in that man's radio world

:)

Teaching my boys the roofing trade. The radio would be placed on the chimney, talk conservative was the theme. Their choice, I preferred no radio.

We actually don't like radios on the job AT ALL. After 30 minutes of what turns out to be amped up commercials, it gets shut off. Why bother with it?

I've had many complaints from the "Temp Help" that's passed thru through the yrs.

I dunno. We do just fine without it on the roof. We're all jammin' in the trucks tho! :)

OLE Willie

The only thing that ever kept me from putting this one on my phone recording is the fact I don't want anyone having to wait.

Back in the day when time wasn't like it is today, on the Motorola truck phones I would play " it must be rain drops falling from the sky..........." Oh no it can't be tears cause a man ain't supposed to cry. Dee Clark B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
