I like to think I've done some hard stuff in my life. Licensed pilot, 2nd degree black belt karate instructor, etc. But Lok Down (now SwiftShield) is my (and my partners') greatest accomplishment of them all!
This started with a prototype I made out of wood a few years ago. Thru 13 model changes we ended up with the device whose sole purpose for existing is saving the lives of students from active shooters!
We recently sold the company to the 2nd largest Public Adjusting firm in the nation in an arrangement that paid us no up-front money, but insured that our devices can get into millions of classrooms where they can save lives as intended.
Good job. Good man
That's a very slick idea Tim. Congrat's and listen to Lefty.
Looks like a great idea. If you can't make money on it then you can't manufacture it so I hope you make a lot of money and get one in every class.

It takes money to do good things. You can not do it without money.
Even the people who have no money, need someone to pay the bills so they can do good works without their money.
Thanks man. We're not afraid to make money, but we struggled with the moral dilemma of making money on this invention from the very start. We reminded ourselves daily that top priority always was to save lives. If some time down the road we make a little money on it, great. But we want it in classrooms nationwide where they can save lives tomorrow.
Congratulations Tim. Hope that it gets to where it is needed.
