What is that system called where you installed an insert between the flutes on a metal panel, then a recover board and then a single ply over that?
Copperman...I ran into that once before.
Aaron B ended up spraying it
Twill I helped on a 800 square project where we did just that. We ripped 2 inch iso board to fit between the ribs. Screwed it down and then based over it. It looked good when it was done. That was three years ago and I was just on the roof the other day to measure up some gutter that got damaged from snow sliding off. I would think you would have to consult an engineer to see if the building was designed to handle the extra weight.
yeah we are a durolast contractor and we have done a few of those jobs....I might could find you the name of an insulation company that cuts the flute fillers. But it will take me a couple days cause I'm not going to my office till Friday.
Thanks Wildbill. I assume you'd have to be a duro last contractor for that tho. There was one company that advertised this for years I reckon I could also rip some 1" sheets of rigid insulation and fill the pans ("flutes").LOL Sure would add time to the job tho......
durolast has a retrofit system like that also I think several other manufacturers have similar systems....here's a link: http://www.duro-last.com/duroshield/
