Monday morning, I went to finish up a slate repair job on a church in the center of a town's square. Only had 4 slate to replace. By the time I got set up and hook ladder in place, I noticed vet's gathering in the street. I just wasn't fast enough to get my job done so as soon as the service started, I stopped, took my hat off, and particicpated right there 2.5 stories up (even saying the Pledge of Allegiance). I felt like a fish out of water as the crowd was facing my way, but had the best seat in the house. Got a little nervous when it came time for the 21 gun salute though.
Thank you for all those who served in the military!
The best 3 minutes of my day today. Watch and enjoy.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
A friend shared it with me; I'm sharing it with you.
