Back home when I was a kid we used nice fresh maggotts as fish bait instead of worms. You'd buy a pint in a clean green container from the bait shop for a few pennies. My mum always got skeeved out when I put them in the fridge 'til the morning.................never understood why...>>>

And whether that bit of green was going between two slices of bread with a little mayo on the side, or getting removed with some strong bleach, rubber gloves, and a scubbing sponge...

One shouldn't cry over spilt milk, but it does stink up a fridge pretty bad if you don't take care of it quickly.
