What would you do if a manufacturer's rep intercedes during the bid process and ends up taking a potential job away from you by various means after you ( the contractor) introduced him to the project?

As much as I hate to complain I think I'd be talking to his boss. It depends on how much I liked their product and how serious his boss took the complaint. That's nuts.
