So, lets say you were talked in to switching to a particular manufacturer after they repeatedly told you "We'll never ask you to buy a truckload of material but what we have the jobs for you to do to pay for it." And "We have the jobs for you to do to pay for this material we're asking you to order." But they didn't have the jobs!
In fact, you bought $800,000 in their material and their leads yielded you only around $150,000 in work, some of it not very appealing work. On one hand, there was $150,000 in work, but on the other that's not enough to justify the switch and buying truckload quantities of material.
Much of the material was eventually used up thru heavy discounting but it has left a bad taste in my mouth.
I will not name the manufacturer - this isn't about revenge. Just using y'all as a sounding-board.
