rite on i did a four story ships prow.and can't upload the pic to the forum.
They did that to protect the open door of the hay loft. They used to pull the hay up loose with a large fork contraption and it had a rail that extended out from the hay loft. the "prow" gave it support and it also covered the wagon down below. hay bales put an end to that concept.
