I have heard there are shortages in Knoxville of shingle and roofing supplies. Are the suppliers raising there prices like the rest of the country? B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
The first thing you will need to determine is if the program they are using is a residential or commercial. Residential will definitely not have that material on it. If the commercial doesn't there is a wizard program for xactimate that might help. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
CIAK, what do you think about an independent adjuster who agreed on a $135,000 hail damaged shopping center roof claim on our chopped glass emulsion roof, but because he couldn't find the system in Xactimate, he decided to just pay $50,000? Pretty shaky, huh? He was adjusting for Hartford and both are giving us the run around. Adjuster says he does disagree with the $135,000 amount, but he just can't make it work with Xactimate.
Ideas on a strategy besides the obvious complaint to the state board of insurance for bad faith?
I am still sitting here on the other side of the country in Arizona. Because I'm working with the National Catastrophe Team I sit in on National pricing issues. Knoxville roofers is a trouble area at the moment. That was the reason for the inquiry B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
