Kansas Roof License Question

My brother has decades of roofing experience, but now has another job. He is wanting to do roof leak repairs only, in Kansas. Such a part time endeavor doesn't warrant the hoops for licensure in Kansas. Does Kansas require licensure if only patch type work is done?

Kansas does not have state licensing...HOWEVER...each county and city may set their own requirements. Check with your local authorities.
